Physical Appearance: Standing Eia is of average height, though in the wild she tends to crouch more, as most Kojin do. She is well muscled though not bulky, more of an acrobat or martial artists physical build. Her fur is light during the summer months and thick in the winter. It is a bright orange hue with black tiger stripes running down her entire body, though her chest, stomach, inner arms, inner thighs, neck and around her eyes are covered in a soft white fur. In all she is quite attractive, and a beautiful specimen of the Kojintora race.

Personality: Courteous to most Eia is somewhat of a mystery. She tends to be aloof, not talking much to people she doesn't know… though she has a tendency to give aid in secrecy to humans in villages and those who travel through forests. Her trust is hard earned, but when it is she is a loyal friend, and would die to protect those she cares for. She can be quite vicious if cornered and is a worthy adversary to those both small and large.
History:

Eia is a Kojintora, a race of cat people. She comes from the Takua Tribe, a group of kojintoras living deep in the tropical forests of southern Auraton. Born to a tribe elder named Torbak and his life-mate Maki, Eia was the fourth and last child in her family. She got along with all of her siblings, her two older brothers and older sister, and loves them greatly. Being the youngest she watched as her elder siblings grew and had families of their own, and thought that she too would find her life-mate someday. When she was at the age of eighteen she discovered that the tribe's council, along with her father, had agreed to have Eia betrothed to the neighboring Karo-Wagah Tribe leader in order to merge the tribes. This union of theirs would unite the tribes and expand their lands, increasing security and establishing them as a large trading community with the local elves in Drasnia. By custom in mergers tribal leaders could only marry another tribal leader's daughter or a council members daughter, and she was the only eligible daughter, the others were either still children, gone on their adulthood trials or already had life-mates. Eia was hurt and infuriated, for she did not love this kojintora… how could she when she had never met him?

Trying to escape the life that was chosen for her, for as long as possible, she requested to go on the trials of adulthood. Her brother had done this trial in his youth and so had her mother, a custom for kojin warriors. Though hesitant the tribe council could not decline her request, and agreed for her to take her adulthood trials, but she must return within one year, on or before her twentieth birthday, otherwise she would be counted as dead or a failure… and would also bring ruin upon their clan. Knowing that she could not bring her family shame or fail her people she vowed she would return… and still intends to despite her arranged betrothal. So she left her village on her nineteenth birthday, to find herself and the courage to do what she has been required to do.

For the past few months Eia has been all over the midsection of Auraton, assisting travelers in the forests, though usually inconspicuously. Eia witnessed the demon army lead by Derrek attack Rionia, and went north to Falorn to warn them of the attack and the possibility of incoming refugees. While going to the chapel there she was attacked by slave hunters, and crashed through the stained glass window of the chapel. Defended by Father Abbot and the Lady Rediana the hunters were turned away and her wounds were treated. Once recovered Eia slipped out of the chapel with a simple thank you of some gold coins she had acquired on her journey.

During her escape she was spotted by a young orphan girl, Jacqueline, whom followed her into the forest. At first startled by her Eia grew to like the young spunky girl, finding her innocence about the world a wonderful… yet dangerous attribute. Jaqueline was unable to return to the abbey for a fire caused by the hunters had spread throughout the forest. Fleeing for their lives Eia and Jaqueline managed to find safety.

Jaqueline was determined not to return to the abbey, and so Eia has stuck with her, knowing the young girl would need protection. She had agreed to hide Jack's true gender, allowing the girl to falsely pretend to be a boy.

They traveled together back to the ruined Rionia, taking money enough to last them a lifetime from the castle treasury, and gave Jack the look of a young lord… and Eia a true guise as 'his' guard pet… despite Jack's protests. It is on their way out they met Otar, Tyra, Quentoroto and his band of brownies, and Morgan in a battle against trolls. Eia then traveled with Jack, Otar and Tyra north towards Alta, where they took a ship and docked at the city of Sarensburg. Though Eia's time of freedom is slowly diminishing she has many adventures yet to come…
