History:

Born in the Celestial keep of Moon Spire, in the Sanctuary of Israidisu, Lilith was the first Celestial to be born without wings. Her birth had been prophesied by a Celestial named Paramethius Asapteau, a Celestial Elder of utmost standing in the Moon Spire community. Although the Prophecy had been made many centuries before her arrival, her birth brought great fear and despair to the Celestials.

Her father and mother, Kyrin and Isadrasei Etendaria, gave Lilith over to the care of the head Bishop, Father Aetheocyn. Although they did not fear her, they feared what she represented. So she spent the first years of her youth in the care of the divine Citadel. Although she was not treated cruelly she was not a real part of the overall Celestial society due to her handicap. Many Celestials would ignore her presence all together, including those around her own age, much to her despair.

Despite this Lilith grew and applied herself to the best of her ability in everything she did. She was a fast learner and adapted to physical exercises that Father Aeheocryn taught her, as well as teaching her to read and write. Often during her childhood she would dream about flying and prayed every day that she would grow the wings she was always meant to have. Yet it was a fleeting wish, and the dreams began to wither as she reached her teens.

On that horror filled day, in her fourteenth year of life, Derrek and his army attacked Moon Spire with an army of thousands. Lilith almost lost her life as Derrek and his men broke into the divine Citadel’s grounds, but she and the other fleeing survivors were saved by the sacrifice of her mother and the defending Celestials. Witnessing her mother’s death Lilith was frozen in horror, staring at the feind who had taken her life with horror filled eyes. Father Aeotheocyn grabbed her and forced a brown satchel onto her, tossing the cord over her head and shoulder, the bag press into her palms. He stared at her for just a second, and then forced her through the gateway he had torn open. That was the last time she would see Israidius.

Falling through time Lilith felt pain that she still couldn’t describe to this day. Then it ended all at once as she was falling through the air. Lilith hit the ground and opened her eyes to see lush green forest all around her. That is when a young Elsyven boy, Elylas, found her and he took her to his village. There the Elsyven took her in as one of their own. After several decades Lilith and Elylas admitted their love for one another and married. A few months later Lilith found out she was pregnant and the couple was very happy.

That is until Tadrien, Elylas's jealous rival for Lilith's affections, had sold himself to the Israidians, and revealed Lilith’s presence there. The village was attacked in the dead of the night, Elylas was killed and Lilith was beaten violently, causing her to loose their child. With the last of her strength Lilith fought Tadrien and killed him.

Lilith survived, but she went into a state of solitude, taking to the study of the world she now lived in, and continued practicing her fighting skills, all to keep her mind away from the pain and loneliness she felt. Many centuries passed and she watched those she grew up with and cared for, die. At one point she began shaving her head, and spent two years in silent solitude, meditating. She had received a vision from Evithanon during this solitude, and found renewed purpose in her life. Lilith began to travel and grow in her knowledge during her travels, and learned a great deal about the lands of Lagunis.

Around 2935 ADW Lilith returned to her former home with the Elsyven, finding many she knew had passed away long ago. Yet the village still knew of her, and she was welcomed once again. This is when she met Raven, a creature with lost memories and mysterious powers, and found companionship and comfort in the strange being. He too was tormented by not knowing who he was, what he was and his past, and knowing how it felt to needed answers, Lilith agreed to help him.

Her and Raven traveled all over the lands, helping those in need when they could. Lilith became a sort of legend, the beautiful mystical woman who came and healed those in need, defeated the demons that threatened a village or farm, and was kind and generous to those she met. Since her life began she has faced many great challenges and losses, made many new allies, faced multitudes of enemies and even faced death itself.

Eventually Raven learned who and what he was, a rare form of being called a shapeshifter, and that brought forth some troubling issues for him. Raven and Lilith had a short romantic relationship, and then separated recently in Calora. They met briefly in Avgar, only to reconfirm the end of their relationship.

Lilith now more than ever wants her own answers, and refuses to allow anyone else to deter her from her course. The truth is there, the key exists, she just has to find it. And so Lilith's story continues...
