Character Classes: EthrealAlthough the classes here vary greatly, they all share one thing in common that sets them all in the same class. Ethreal Classes are determined by their association with Ethreal magite or powers that have been granted by the Gods themselves. Their powers are based upon their belief and faith in the gods. BishopA Bishop is a practitioner of high religion, a leader and mentor, who upholds and enforces their faiths with the strength of their conviction and will. They are adapts at using Ethreal magite, and depending upon their faith, use only Holy or Shadow magite. One could say a Bishop is an advanced form of Cleric, with a stronger set of spells from healing to damage dealing. What a Cleric cannot do, it is likely the Bishop can, and then some. Unlike the Cleric, however, Bishops do not have any form of combat training and depend upon their magite and wit at all times. Because a Bishop possesses such a high form of confidence and faith, they believe that they don't need to fight, for they can have others do it for them, or use their spells to deal with the problem. A Bishop must pray often to their god in order to maintain their strong magite link. Weapons: Staff, book, wand.Armor: Light only. Magite: Holy or Shadow only. Race Restrictions: Kojintora, Orcs, Gargoyles, Ocaniglis and Vespiers cannot be a Bishop. ClericClerics are spiritual beings, linked to their deity through their selfless dedication and faith. As a cleric you will act as a moral compass - whether that is to virtue or the power of darkness is up to you. Clerics derive their magic from their gods, and so they will always be equipped with an Ethereal Magite. They are masters of Ethereal Magite, using either Holy or Shadow with ease and precision. Even an inexperienced cleric can bring people back from the brink of death, and an experienced cleric can even bring back people who have crossed over that brink. As channelers of divine energy, clerics can turn away or even destroy undead creatures. An evil cleric, on the other hand, can bring undead under his control. Clerics have some combat training. Weapons: Blunt only.Armors: Light to Medium Armors. Magite: 1 Ethereal, 1 of any other type. Race Restrictions: Kojintora, Orcs, Gargoyles, Ocaniglis and Vespiers cannot be a Cleric. DragoonDragoons are powerful warriors trained by the ways of the dragon. Only humans chosen by the Dragon Gods, the most powerful and greatest of all dragons, are able to become a dragoon. A human child is presented before the Dragon gods’ statues, where one of the ten will choose the child. If one is not chosen, then they are incapable of becoming a dragoon. A dragoon with the power of the dragon has the ability to transform themselves into mighty dragon warriors. In this form, the warrior enlarges a couple feet in size, and their appearance looks like a hybrid of a human and a dragon. Their skin becomes scaly and its color changes to that of the Dragon God they were chosen by. The dragoon’s head changes into the appearance of a dragon; their hands become clawed, as well as their feet. Large wings come out from their back, giving them the ability of flight. The basic structure of the dragoon’s body remains that of a humans, but becomes much more bulkier, and their strength is amplified by ten fold. Being blessed by the Dragon Gods they can use their powers at will. (for more information go --HERE-- ). Weapons: Any.Armors: Any. Magite: None. Race Restrictions: Human only class. MonkMonks are rare in Calamia, for there are few who possess your calm, your focus, or your unique training. Monks endlessly seek the perfection of their fighting arts. They are adept at unarmed and unarmored combat and have a sixth-sense that allows them to sense a coming attack even when they can't seen it's source. As a monk's skills improve, he learns to stun his foes with a well aimed strike, evade magic attacks, deflect incoming missiles with his bare hands, and many other special techniques. Monks gain abilities from their god through a Magite. Monks don't use weapons for the most part, but are proficient in using most small hand weapons. Weapons: Quarterstaff, chakrams, brass knuckles, fans.Armors: None. Magite: 1 Ethereal, 1 other of any type. Race Restrictions: Centaurs and Evidae cannot be a Monk. Kojintora can be, but they of course have no magite. PaladinPaladins are the holy warriors of good gods. They use their strength of arms to complete what they see as divine quests and are always lawfully good. Like Fighters, Paladins are proficient with most types of weapons and armor. Paladins, because of their strong link with their divine god, are capable of casting spells through Holy Magite. All paladins must be of lawful good alignment, and they loses all special abilities granted to them by their god if they ever willingly commit an act of evil. Additionally, a paladin's code requires that they respect legitimate authority, act with honor (not lying, not cheating, not using poison, etc.), help those who need help (provided they do not use the help for evil or chaotic ends), and punish those that harm or threaten innocents. Weapons: Any.Armors: Any. Magite: 1 Holy , 1 Spirit. No Arcane spells. Race Restrictions:Scathii, Kojintora, Vampire, Daywalker, Forsaken, Misbegotten, Gargoyle and Orc cannot be a Paladin. ValkyriesValkyries are a woman class only, and are strong women dedicated to a Goddess figure. Unlike Paladins, Valkyries don't serve under a Lord or King, and often work on their own, on behalf of their Goddess. They usually live in temples devoted to their Goddess, teaching, learning and bringing other women of strong minds, bodies, hearts and faiths to their fold. Yet it is a strict life and long road to become a Valkyrie, their training methods only second to that of the Dragoons. Many women fail, and so for a woman to become a Valkyrie is indeed an honor. All Valkyries are granted special powers via their Goddess through a magite, but their spells are only physically oriented, and they are not allowed to use any other type of magite. They can temporarily enhance their strength, the speed of their swing, lessen the pain of their own wounds, and shout out intimidating battle cries to weaken enemies morale. Valkyries must pray once a day in order to use these skills, so that their link with their Goddess is strong and unwavering. Valkyries use only pole arms or blunt weapons (hammers, clubs, maces, etc.), and are not allowed to use blades of any kind (swords, daggers). Weapons: Polearms, blunts.Armor: Any Magite: Holy or Shadow. Race Restrictions: Scathii, Kojintora, Vampire, Daywalker, Forsaken, Misbegotten, Gargoyle and Orc cannot be a Valkyrie. Female only class. |
