All things have to begin somewhere. This is the Dark World RPG Library, a resource for potential and current players to learn more about our world. All new files are added as they are introduced, and players are welcomed and encouraged to add to the games documentation. Most of the information has been created by the GM's for player use, but there are many files that have been added to or created by our players to add to the game world. The author of each document is listed. Please do not use these files elsewhere on the web.

Historical Documentation & Lore

Here is a collection of histories and documentation from the world Calamia and the Dark World. More histories, lore, documents and prophecies will be added as they are discovered or learned. Those marked with an * are a must read in order to join the rpg. The other histories are beneficial to game play, and can help you understand the world better.

Races

Also here are the racial profiles for the playable races of the Dark World RPG. You can choose to play one of these, or create one of your own to be approved and added to the list. Now this isn't a complete list of races you can play and some of them are more for monsters and npc's (Non-Player Characters), and there are some still in the works like orcs, goblins and such. Email the RPG owner if you have any questions about playing a character.

Character Creation

Want to create a character? Well you're moving in the right direction. Studying the Library will help you learn more about the Dark World. Yet you need to know more, and so these files will help you build your character, as well give you tips on what not to do with your character. New files will be added as they are completed.

Each character has a class that determines what they are. This class is called the Primary Class, their major area of expertise. A character can also have one secondary class from the Profession List. This list determines your characters profession, any possible trade skills they have. For some this may be playing an assassin, a demon hunter, or an articifer. Some people may not have a secondary class, some will. If a class or secondary class is not listed below that you would like then you are welcome to submit one for approval. If approved it will be added to the list for other members to play. Characters can NOT be dual-classed (having two primary classes). Some classes are restricted by race, so please be sure your race is playable with that class!! If listed as 'None', that means there are no racial restrictions for that class. When races are listed under the restrictions it means only those races can be that class. However, please use common sense, for any class that uses magic would be extremely limiting to a Kojintora character.

****Class information for Brownies and Mephits are not listed in any of the classes below because they are only allowed to be Bards, Rogues, Herbalists, Commoners or Clods. NO exceptions. ****

World & Misc. Maps

These are the Dark World's current maps. This isn't the complete world, but rather the known world. All areas that bleed off the map are unexplored and uncharted. All players are able to work with the GM's to help create and expand this vast and diverse world. The world map of Calamia will be updated everytime a new place is introduced, and new maps will be added when they are made. Clickon map thumbnails get the full view, or use our flash map. Also shown are other maps of buildings, cities and other misc places.
