Some mortals actively curry the gods' favor, serving their high ideals or executing their blasphemous designs. Others are random victims or beneficiaries of divine attention. Those whom the gods have touched may be inspired, blessed, cursed -- the saint and the prophet, the genius and the madman, sometimes one and the same person. In these worlds there are two main gods, the god of creation and the god of destruction. There are also a set of demigods, that are beneath them, and that certain groups of people would worship.
(Please remember this is just a game, all of this is fictional and has no barrings on real religion.)
The God of Creation- Evithanon
He is known as the Creator, the being who molded the worlds with his hands and gave them life with his breath. He is the father of goodness, love, life, honor, virtue and law. Though he does not often meddle in affairs of his children, he is there, guiding and protecting them in their times of need. He is also referred to as: The Creator, God.
The God of Destruction- Molrivath
The eternal darkness is his place. He is constantly seeking to destroy the world, to tear apart what Evithanon created and bring utter chaos. The god of darkness, he is also refered to as: The Destroyer, The Devil.
Demigods
Each god has a set of lesser gods beneath them, that bless or curse the mortals of Israidius and Calamia. Both worlds, strangely, believe in the same Gods as well as Demigods. Each is different in what they stand for, and each has their own effect on the mortal realms, often influencing individuals in the world, blessing them or helping them in small ways, or causing havoc and using the mortals for their own gains. The Demigods acknowledge the power of their creators as well, the good aligned with the Divine One, and the evil aligned with the Dark One. A person can worship more than one, acknowledge more than one, but never receive powers from more than one. An individual can be blessed by more than one as well, but they gain no special powers from this blessing. (Example: Jane was blessed by Kagetsu with beauty, or good dreams. Bubba was not blessed by Dracentaru with wisdom, but he was blessed/cursed by Servithius with a strong sense of greed.) They are listed below in alphabetical order:
