OcaniglisAn ancient race of Israidius, they are strong, hearty, cunning and one of the few races who received the least damage from the Corruption. Often stated by other races, such as the Athdraki, the Ocaniglis are said to be very similar in custom to those of the Calamian Orcs, though that’s pretty much were the similarities end. The Ocaniglis are group of bipedal humanoids that have the lower body of a beast, the upper torso of a man, and the head of a Jackal. The Ocaniglis stands roughly between 5’ 7” and 7’ tall, females typically being slightly smaller in height than the males. Their bodies are lean, some with wiry frames and others with large bulky bodies, each with distinctive muscles formation. Their hind quarters are situated like that of a dog, with their ankle centered in the leg and tapering off into a wide thickly padded clawed paw. A tail protrudes from the base of their spine, and is not overtly long, nor is it short. It tends to be slightly bushy. All of these people have a face that looks strikingly similar to a jackal. Their muzzles are long and pointed, with curved sharp canine teeth. Their nose is soft and black in color, and they have an excellent sense of smell. Large ears crown their head, affording them an above average sense of hearing. Eye color varies, but is commonly gold, amber, red, and shades of brown or gray. Rarely is any other color seen. Most tend to have sandy or golden colored fur, though some tend to be reddish, deep brown, or near black color, having indistinct stripes along the sides of the body. Some possess a mantle of hair on the back that contrasts with the overall color of their body. The tail is commonly black-tipped, though some are white tipped.
