In order to make the game enjoyable for all to play, let alone functional, we need a set of rules. We do add new rules and regulations when/if they are needed. So read on fellow RPG'er! However, if you can't handle these rules we wish you luck in finding the game that suits your needs!
- Players are expected to post at least once a week. If you don’t plan to actively participate and have fun with us then go hug a hungry troll.
- If you do not reply to another players post within a week, that thread has permission to move on without you.
- If you go inactive without prior notice for more than two weeks, you may be removed from the game. Vacations and unexpected life circumstances are to be anticipated. If you have a legitimate reason for not posting, tell us up front. We aren't psychic. However, if you can’t post regularly due to life constraints then this game should be on the bottom of your priority list. Do the right thing, respect the players, the game, and yourself; bow out and come back and play when you have more time for fun and posting.
- Some light god moding is to be expected in any game, but don't cross the line. We will remove players from the game for blantant or exessive God Moding. Don't know what God Moding is, at least in our reference? Then read this: God Moding Syndrome.
- Controlling, harming or killing another player's character or NPC, without their permission, is not acceptable. People won't like you much if you do.
- We do not accept cardboard character copies, especially name wise. This means no characters from a movie, game, anime, TV series, etc. This is not a game for your fandom either, find another place for it.
- NO, and we repeat, NO rewriting/changing character history without GM permission. All character histories have to be complete in the character form, from birth to present in order to be approved.
- New members are placed on a probation period of two months. This means that rookie players are not allowed to make any more characters after their first until their probation period is over.
- All players may only have up to four characters, unless otherwise stated.
- No Guns. No Cannons. No Gun Powder. Never. Don't even ask.
- Players are not allowed to portal/teleport their characters; magically, accidentally, etc, at all, period. If you do you'll end up in a mysterious room where you will immediately be killed by a hoard of jumping humpers. Spare yourself... just don't do it.
- Rude behavior or harassment toward any player, GM or the group is not acceptable. If you have a problem contact the GM’s immediately. We don't expect everyone to get along at all times, but be civil. Keep these issues out of the group if possible. If you start a fight in OOC... well it's your funeral.
- This RPG is rated R for violence, language and adult situations, so players must be 17 years old or older in order to join. This, however, does not mean we are a smut RPG. If that's what you are looking for... well you'll be sadly disappointed. If we find out you are not 17+ you will be removed from the game, and then proceed to set your pants on fire for being a liar.
- All members must have their group email settings on either 'Individual Emails' or 'Daily Digest'. Why? Because we said so.
- The GM's retain the right to control the game’s content. This means they can change, delete, add, and edit content as they see fit.
- No Lurkers. This means we do not allow people in the group to just read the story and not participate.
- By submitting a character to our game you are granting us permission to use it in our game, whether you are in it or not. This means if you leave the game we can still use the character in the game. We can alter the character if need be, adopt it out to a new player, use it as an NPC or feed it to rabid squirrels. Whatever tickles our fancy.
- Players agree to our rules and terms, whether they have read them or not. If a player breaks these rules and terms they understand that the GM's have the right to remove them from the game and then give all their characters to Derrek to play with.
- Last and certainly not least, have fun!
